Hepatitis C: Living with hepatitis C

Some medicines can lead to an increase in liver enzyme levels. Anyone with a chronic liver disease should avoid any unnecessary medications.

For people with other serious diseases (in addition to hepatitis C) the situation is especially difficult: sometimes certain medicines must be taken, although they will cause additional stress to the liver.

Medical advice should be sought in such cases.
